Undercarriage Parts — Excavator, Bulldozer & Heavy Equipment Components

Tracked machines earn their keep on the ground and the undercarriage system is what keeps them there. Every tonne of operating weight, every digging load, every metre of travel across a job site passes directly through the undercarriage components beneath the machine. When those components are correctly specified and properly maintained, the machine works. When they are not, the failure is never isolated: a seized track roller destroys a rubber track, a worn sprocket accelerates chain wear, a failing final drive locks one side of the machine completely.

As a specialist undercarriage parts supplier, Imara Engineering supplies OEM-quality aftermarket undercarriage parts for excavators and heavy equipment across the complete system  track rollers, final drives, rubber tracks, sprockets, idler wheels, carrier rollers, track adjusters, track chains, and track shoes. Every part cross-referenced against OEM specifications for Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kubota, Bobcat, and more. We ship worldwide. Find your undercarriage component below.

Collection: Undercarriage Parts

The Undercarriage System, Why Every Component Is Connected

The undercarriage is not a collection of independent parts. It is a system where the condition of every component directly affects the wear rate and service life of every other and this is the most important thing to understand about undercarriage maintenance.

A seized track roller creates a stationary point load on the rubber track directly above it, wearing through the inner surface within hours of continued operation. A worn sprocket with hooked teeth pulls track links into abnormal contact with every revolution, destroying a new rubber track faster than any operating surface could. An incorrectly tensioned track adjuster overloads every roller it runs across simultaneously. A failing final drive puts uneven tension through the track on that side, accelerating wear on the idler and carrier rollers before the drive failure is even diagnosed.

At Imara Engineering, when a customer contacts us with an undercarriage problem, we work through the full system picture before confirming any order  because the most expensive undercarriage repair is always the one that replaces the visible failure without addressing what caused it.

The Complete Undercarriage Parts Range at Imara Engineering

Our undercarriage spare parts range covers every component in the system. Each collection is stocked across the most widely operated excavator and heavy equipment brands organized so you can navigate directly to your specific requirement.

Track Rollers

Track rollers ‘bottom rollers’ support the machine's full operating weight on the lower run of the track. When their internal face seals fail and the oil charge escapes, they seize and become stationary point loads that destroy the track and stress the track frame simultaneously. We stock OEM-quality track rollers for excavators and bulldozers across Cat, Komatsu, and Hitachi serial-number verified, pre-filled with the correct oil charge, and dispatched ready to fit.

Carrier Rollers

Carrier rollers ‘top rollers’ support the track on its return run above the track frame between the idler and the sprocket. A seized or flat-spotted carrier roller creates a point load on the upper track surface as damaging as a seized bottom roller creates below. On rubber track machines this causes localized inner surface delamination that shortens track service life significantly.

Idler Wheels

The front idler guides the track around the undercarriage system and works with the track adjuster to maintain correct tension. A worn idler flange causes the track to run off-center producing asymmetric lug wear on rubber tracks and side-loaded chain wear on steel track systems. Idler conditions should be inspected alongside every rubber track and track chain replacement.

Track Adjusters

The track adjuster maintains correct track tension, the single most important maintenance variable in undercarriage service life. Over-tensioning overloads every roller and the idler simultaneously. Under-tensioning causes derailing and impact damage to the inner track surface. A worn adjuster that cannot hold tension puts immediate abnormal load on every surrounding undercarriage component from the first operating hour of a new track installation.

Sprockets

The drive sprocket links the final drive output to the track chain or rubber track. Hook wear on sprocket teeth pulls track links into abnormal contact with every revolution destroying a new rubber track or chain faster than any other single undercarriage variable. Sprockets must always be inspected and replaced alongside any rubber track or track chain replacement.

Track Chains

Track chains are the steel link assemblies that form the continuous loop of the undercarriage system on steel-tracked excavators and bulldozers. Pin and bushing wear, link plate thinning, and pitch elongation affect every component the chain contacts. Sealed and lubricated track chains significantly extend service life in abrasive operating conditions.

Track Shoes

Track shoes bolt to the track chain links and form the ground contact surface of the undercarriage. Shoe width, bolt pattern, and grouser profile must match the machine specification and the operating environment the wrong shoe type for the terrain damages both the track chain and the ground surface simultaneously.

Rubber Tracks

Rubber tracks are the primary ground interface on mini and compact excavators and compact track loaders responsible for traction, load distribution, and protection of every roller and sprocket they run across. Correct Width × Pitch × Link Count specification is non-negotiable. We stock rubber tracks for excavators and compact loaders across Cat, Komatsu, Kubota, and Bobcat.

Final Drives / Travel Motors

The final drive is the hydraulic gearbox at the drive sprocket end of the undercarriage converting travel motor pressure into the high-torque output that drives the tracks. When it fails, one side of the machine loses drive entirely. We supply OEM-quality final drives for excavators, mini diggers, and skid steers across Cat, Komatsu, Kubota, Bobcat, Volvo, and Hitachi every unit pressure-tested and supplied with a full oil charge.

Why Aftermarket Undercarriage Parts Are the Right Choice

OEM undercarriage parts carry a significant brand premium above equivalent quality aftermarket specification without delivering proportionally better performance when the aftermarket part is correctly specified. At Imara Engineering, every aftermarket undercarriage component is held to three standards before it enters our inventory:

  • OEM specification cross-referencing — every defining parameter confirmed against the OEM parts database for your specific machine model and serial number. Shell diameter, flange profile, pitch accuracy, pressure rating all verified before dispatch.
  • Application-matched quality — undercarriage components operate under loads and duty cycles that require heavy equipment grade specification. Every part we supply is sourced from manufacturers operating to the production standards appropriate for the machines they serve.
  • Fitment guarantee — if a correctly identified part does not fit the machine it was ordered for, we replace it or refund it with no return freight cost to you. No ambiguity, no deflection.

Undercarriage Maintenance, The System Approach That Protects Your Investment

The operators who get the most from their undercarriage parts are not the ones who replace parts when they fail. They are the ones who inspect the full system regularly and address wear before it cascades into the components around it.

Three undercarriage maintenance principles that every operator should apply:

  • Inspect every 250 operating hours — track tension, roller seal condition, sprocket tooth wear, idler alignment, and carrier roller rotation. In abrasive or high-moisture conditions reduce this to every 150 hours.
  • Always address the root cause alongside the replacement — a seized roller fitted alongside a worn idler will wear at the same accelerated rate as the roller it replaced. A new rubber track fitted over a worn sprocket will be damaged from the first operating hour.
  • Replace related components together — sprockets and rubber tracks, track rollers and track adjusters, final drives and travel motors. The cost of replacing two components together is always less than replacing one now and returning for the second three months later after it has damaged everything around it.
