Excavator Rubber Tracks- Precision and Proven Performance. Ready to Ship.

Your excavator's rubber tracks are not just the ground contact layer, they are the foundation of the entire undercarriage system beneath the machine. Every track roller supporting the machine's weight, every idler wheel guiding its path, every sprocket tooth driving it forward all of them depend on the rubber track running across them being the correct specification for that machine. A digger rubber track that is even marginally off in pitch engages the sprocket incorrectly from the first revolution. An under-specified steel cord core delaminates under the torsional loads of excavator slewing.

A wrong lug profile for the terrain places abnormal stress on the idler wheels and track rollers simultaneously. At Imara Engineering, we stock OEM-quality excavator rubber tracks and mini excavator tracks for machines from 1-tonne through 8-tonne class cross-referenced against OEM part numbers for Cat, Komatsu, Kubota, Hitachi, Yanmar, and more. Part of our broader undercarriage parts range, every track is the correctly specified replacement your excavator's undercarriage was designed around. We ship worldwide.

Collection: Excavator Rubber Tracks

Getting the Specification Right Width × Pitch × Link Count

The three-number sizing system defines every excavator rubber track completely and all three numbers must be confirmed before any order is placed.

  • Width — measured in millimetres across the flat ground-contact surface of the track. Determines the ground contact area and the ground pressure the machine exerts per square metre.
  • Pitch — the centre-to-centre distance in millimetres between consecutive steel link connections. Must match the sprocket tooth spacing exactly. Even a small pitch deviation produces abnormal sprocket contact stress with every revolution.
  • Link Count — the total number of steel links in the complete track loop. Determines the total track length and must match the track frame geometry of your specific machine.

These three numbers are stamped on the inner surface of your existing track in most cases, or listed in your machine's service manual under undercarriage specifications. Never ordered from machine model name alone, the Komatsu PC35, Kubota KX040, and Cat 303 ranges were all produced across multiple undercarriage configurations across their production histories. A machine model name does not define the track specification. The three numbers do.

At Imara Engineering, every excavator rubber track order is confirmed against Width × Pitch × Link Count using your machine serial number before dispatch. Provide your machine make, model, and serial number and we confirm the exact specification before your order is placed.

Warning Signs, When Your Excavator Needs New Rubber Tracks

A worn rubber track does not just reduce traction, it distributes abnormal stress across the full mini excavator undercarriage system simultaneously. Replace your excavator rubber tracks if you are seeing any of the following:

  • Tracks derailing on turns or slopes — steel core stretch beyond the track adjuster's compensation range. This is a replacement situation, not a tensioning one.
  • Steel cord visible at the outer or inner track surface — full compound wear-through. Every operating hour from this point risks sudden separation without warning.
  • Cracking across or between lugs — compound hardening from UV exposure or over-tensioning. Surface cracks propagate under load and lug separation follows.
  • Uneven lug wear across the track width — the track is running off-centre. Idler alignment or adjuster condition must be investigated alongside replacement — the root cause must be addressed or the new track replicates the same wear pattern.
  • Drive lug damage on the inner track surface — abnormal sprocket contact shearing material from the drive lugs. Inspect sprocket tooth profile before fitting a new track.
  • Track adjuster at maximum extension — the track has stretched beyond serviceable limits. Replace immediately.

Excavator Rubber Tracks by Machine Brand

Our mini excavator undercarriage parts inventory spans the most widely operated excavator brands all cross-referenced against OEM part numbers, all forming part of our broader undercarriage parts range. No brand names are targeted as primary keywords on this page brand-specific specifications are covered in full on the dedicated brand pages.

Caterpillar — covering Cat 301, 302, 303, 305, and 308 mini excavator series. C-lug and block-lug profiles available. The Cat 303 and 305 specifications carry multiple undercarriage configurations across their production history serial number verification is non-negotiable.

Komatsu — compatible with PC15, PC20, PC35, PC50, PC55, and PC78 series. Continuous spiral-wound steel cord core rated to Komatsu tensile specification. PC35 and PC50 track width configurations vary by production year and always confirm all three numbers.

Kubota — covering KX016, KX018, KX040, KX057, KX080, KX121-3, and U series including U17, U27, and U35. Standard and turf-grade lug profiles available. The Kubota KX121-3 and U17 are priority stock specifications.

Hitachi — stocked for ZX17, ZX26, ZX35, ZX50, and ZX75 series. OEM-matched specification confirmed against Hitachi ZX series part numbers.

Other Brands — we also stock digger rubber tracks for Yanmar, Bobcat, JCB, Takeuchi, Doosan, and Volvo mini excavators. Contact our team with your machine details and we will confirm availability.

Lug Pattern Options, Which Profile Does Your Excavator Need?

The lug pattern determines traction performance, surface protection, and wear rate and the wrong profile for your operating environment places unnecessary stress on the idler wheels and sprockets the track runs across.

  • C-Lug Pattern — the standard configuration for construction and civil engineering. Deep angular lugs deliver strong traction on compacted earth, gravel, and mixed site surfaces. The most widely stocked profile in our mini excavator rubber track range.
  • Block Lug Pattern — multi-directional traction for soft ground, clay, and wet conditions. Better self-cleaning performance in muddy agricultural and drainage environments.
  • Turf / Low-Profile Lug Pattern — for excavators working on finished lawns, paved surfaces, and sensitive ground where surface protection is the priority. Available across Kubota and Yanmar mini excavator specifications.

OEM Quality Without the OEM Price

Every excavator rubber track supplied by Imara Engineering is built to work in harmony with the complete mini excavator undercarriage system not just as a ground contact surface:

  • Continuous spiral-wound steel cord core — not crimped or segmented, engineered to resist delamination under the torsional and lateral loads of excavator slewing and uneven ground operation
  • High-carbon rubber compound — cut resistance against sharp aggregate and concrete, abrasion tolerance on rocky terrain, and UV stability for machines operating outdoors year-round
  • OEM-matched lug geometry and pitch accuracy — dimensionally accurate to the original equipment specification so the track engages your sprocket tooth profile and idler wheel correctly from the first operating hour

Our aftermarket excavator rubber tracks deliver 1,200 to 1,800 operating hours under normal mixed-terrain conditions below OEM dealer pricing.

What to Inspect Before Fitting New Excavator Rubber Tracks

Fitting new mini excavator tracks to a machine with worn surrounding undercarriage parts guarantees a shortened replacement cycle. Inspect these components before installation:

  • Sprockets — hook wear or pointed tooth profile will shear the drive lugs from the new track's inner surface within a fraction of its expected service life. Replace alongside the tracks where wear is evident.
  • Idler Wheels — a worn idler flange causes the new track to run off-centre from the first operating hour, reproducing the uneven lug wear that indicated the problem originally.
  • Track Adjusters — a worn or leaking adjuster cannot maintain correct tension on the new track from day one. Confirm the adjuster condition before the new track goes on.
  • Carrier Rollers — a seized carrier roller creates a point load on the upper track surface causing localised delamination regardless of compound quality.
